Good burrito the 5 star review is for flavor of meat salsa homemade flour tortillas. Simple but delicious. I had regular carne Assad burrito con todo. 5$ and some change. Very kind service.
It's a dive place but exceeds expectations as far a flavors and quality.

Fidel's is the original Hectors! Same owner. Same great burritos. My favorite is the super carnitas burrito. Always piping hot. The combination of their salsa,
fresh tortillas, beans and carnitas makes for a great tasting burrito.

I ordered a Machaca Super Burrito at Fidel's Mexican Food today. The sign outside the place advertised Homemade Tortillas so I was expecting something good. Boy was I wrong! This was the most tasteless and bland Mexican food I have ever had. When I asked for some hot sauce or salsa I was told by the grumpy old man behind the counter that I had to pay extra for it. Do not go here, bad food and bad service.

The food here is very good and authentic. The cooks are very nice. The food is prepared and served quickly. This is not a restaurant to bring a date; there are seats, but I consider this a quick pick-up establishment. However, the only negative is the owner/lady at the front desk. She can be a bit rude and unwilling to modify orders. Good food overall!
